Even though I live local, being elderly I have never been before, not one for "pubs". The establishment itself was clean and pleasant surroundings so I was surprised. I attended a post funeral gathering with food and drinks laid on and I have to say I was bitterly disappointed and felt really sorry for the family who paid for it. I asked several times for a coffee but had to settle for tea after about one hour.. The food was no better, very poor selection, mixed flavours of crisps in the same dishes, mountains of picked onions, no biscuits only cheep "three packs for a pound" cakes and pasta!!! Who serves pasta on floppy paper plates? I have to say some people were digging into what I was told was chicken wing in a BBQ sauce but I pity the chicken they came off, more like sparrow. I certainly wont be going back
